Polbrean House has seven comfortable bedrooms, most overlooking the sea and others enjoying peaceful countryside views.
We have a mix of doubles, twins, triples and family rooms, with ensuite and shared bathrooms, so you can choose what works best for your stay.

Walk the South West Coast Path, surf, kayak, swim in hidden coves or spot seals and seabirds. It’s a truly unique corner of Cornwall, with plenty to explore right from the doorstep.
We are also lucky to have an abundance of delicious local food and drink experiences walking distance from Polbrean.
Our History.
Built in the 1860s for Cornish landscape painter Thomas Hart, Polbrean House was his much-loved family home and creative retreat for many years.
From his purpose-built artist studio, Hart painted the beautiful coves and wild landscapes of the Lizard Peninsula that surround the house today. Over the years, the house has welcomed guests and creatives from around the world, and from the 1990's has been owned by the National Trust, continuing its long connection with art, nature and this very special corner of Cornwall.
